The last couple of days and the next few days probably aren't going to be too exciting. With this week, in addition to planning and getting things squared away for upcoming events, I'm trying to concentrate heavily on getting some areas of the RV-Dreams website tweaked and updated.
Once next weekend gets here, we will be on a whirlwind of travel with some business mixed in with lots and lots of playing this summer. So, I want to get as much done this week as possible.
Friday
Linda's lips were feeling better today, and thus her mood is improving. :)
In addition to speaking with folks interested in becoming an RV weighing team, I've been working on some of the financial sections of the website. It seems every page needs an update, so I'm trying to get to all of that.
At the end of another very pretty day - I've been able to wear shorts the last three days - I grilled some chicken and Linda made some sides for dinner. Again, not much else to tell.
Saturday
Linda was doing even better today. :)
Today was more of the same, except we did take a break to spend some time sitting outside in the sun chatting with Peter & Patty. They spent several years workamping including 17 years at Glacier National Park. Their experience generated quite a few questions from us as Glacier is on our tentative agenda for this summer.
They've also workamped other places and have been involved in several Habitat For Humanity builds. So, they had lots of stories and it was nice to just sit and chat for awhile. And it didn't hurt that Patty brought out some chocolate chip and date cookies. :)
A little later, we decided to move the rig. When we arrived in the middle of January, we left room near the hook-ups so another RV could get in while we were off flying around to RV shows. We only moved about dozen feet or so, but we now we are close to their full hook-ups, and I got everything connected while Linda re-opened the slides.
Back at it, I got our Frequently Asked Questions page updated including information on our 2012 year-end finances.
I also got our Full-Time RVing Expense Averages page updated through 2012.
Now on to the next batch of updates. Whew, there is a lot to do. :)

when are you going to get your campground review page updated? We will be heading to California end of next month first of April and i'm interested where you stayed

Howard, I've been following your blog since app. 2007, and have really enjoyed it. Your "most frequently asked questions" section was outstanding, due mainly to your openness on the financial aspect. Keep it up. You have one of the best RV blogs out there. Thanks, Bob

I was wondering the same thing. maybe our computer is messing up, but have you stopped writing campground reviews? Thanks.

Connie and I have been to Glacier NP as well as to Banf and Jasper NP up in Canada…take my word for it; the views and wildlife are way better north of the border. It's only about 250 miles or so from Glacier to Banf/Jasper so if you're going that far you might as well pop across the border and see better glaciers, better waterfalls, and some of the best scenery we've ever seen.

Glacier was a nice area, although when they are working on the highway traffic gets pretty heavy at 20-30 mph. In my novice way I even caught some fish on my own.

Hi Pennie,
The Campground Reviews are very time-consuming and once I got behind I just haven't had the motivation to go back and catch up. However, I'm working on a couple of ideas to do them a little differently. Whatever I decided, I probably won't have California reviews done by the time you need them. But we do talk about them in the Journal. :)
